The American Legion - The Legion is a U.S. war veterans' organization that provides direct support for veterans and their families and works to preserve veterans’ benefits. Website: legion.org

The Veterans of Foreign Wars – The VFW is the largest and oldest war veterans service organization, we have a long and proven history of providing vital assistance and support to America's service. www.vfw.org

Military.com - Military.com's free membership connects servicemembers, military families and veterans to all the benefits of service. www.military.com

The Military Officers Association of America – MOAA’s mission is to protect your earned benefits, and to offer you resources you can’t find anywhere else. www.moaa.org

Team Rubicon - Team Rubicon unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams. teamrubiconusa.org

The Veteran and Family Resource Center of Oregon - The Veterans and Families Resource Center (VFRC) of Oregon is a nonprofit organization that helps veterans connect to services and benefits. www.vfrcoregon.org

Lines for Life - The Military Helpline offers real help and real hope 24/7/365 to service members, veterans and their families. L4L offers resources for unemployment, poverty, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress and thoughts of suicide. www.linesforlife.org

We encourage everyone to get involved in preserving these histories. Anyone can add stories, interview veterans, and promote this valuable program. Family members, friends, care givers, and veterans themselves can create a biography, share pictures, and add a recorded interview. In order to keep this service free to the public, we rely on the generous, tax deductible donations of people like you, who know that the value of history is truly priceless. At Veterans’ Legacies, we believe this history has already been bought and paid for by the veterans and should never be profited from or sold.
