Captain Don S. Gentile adds a Cluster to his Distinguished Flying Cross. Brigade General Jesse A. Auton is decorating the USAAF ace on March 25, 1944. Later, with a score of thirty, Gentile was decorated with the Distinguished Service Cross by General Dwight D. Eisenhower.
