8th Af Award Ceremony Series 761

In a special presentation ceremony at Commanding General's Headquarters in England, Distinguished Service Crosses for respective acts of extraordinary heroism in enemy combat were conferred upon air heroes of the 8th Air Force. Commanding General Carl Spaatz of Strategic Air Forces is shown congratulating Lt. Colonel James C. Stewart, a Republic P-47 lead pilot, 2nd Lieutenant Thomas J. Dello Buono, a bombardier, and 1st Lieutenant Robert J. Keen, fighter pilot, look on after the presentation of awards.
