Major General Curtis E. LeMay, division commander, is pinning the Distinguished Unit Medal on the tunic of Lieutenant Colonel Louis G. Thorup, who led this group on the mission to Brunswick on January 11, 1944, for which the entire group has received the unit citation for distinguished service.
